I work part-time outside the home, but my other responsibility is to take care of all of the family finances and things around the house. I am our family’s domestic engineer ( what I like to call myself) as my second job. My husband works at least seventy hours every week and usually doesn’t have time to check into things. By the time he gets off work, everything is closed. I am pretty good at finding great deals and getting things done, so I actually enjoy the domestic engineering that I do everyday. Recently, I started couponing. It adds to my tasks, but I love to save some money. There is just something about getting a good deal or a discount that makes you feel good and accomplished. Last week I saved fifteen dollars on our grocery bill. I was pumped and felt like an accomplished domestic engineer!
