DOMESTIC ENGINEERING

Thanks for the guest post by Esteban Vinson

Before we chose our internet provider, I looked into CLEAR internet reviews to make sure that we got a great reliable service at a good price. I am economically-minded one in our family. I work part-time outside the home, but my other responsibility is to take care of all of the family finances and things around the house. I am our family’s domestic engineer ( what I like to call myself) as my second job. My husband works at least seventy hours every week and usually doesn’t have time to check into things. By the time he gets off work, everything is closed. I am pretty good at finding great deals and getting things done, so I actually enjoy the domestic engineering that I do everyday. Recently, I started couponing. It adds to my tasks, but I love to save some money. There is just something about getting a good deal or a discount that makes you feel good and accomplished. Last week I saved fifteen dollars on our grocery bill. I was pumped and felt like an accomplished domestic engineer!

Beverly Hills:90210

Guest post written by my buddy Royce Heath

Saturday night my husband was working the night shift. Earlier that day, I logged on to http://DirectStarTV.com and got an awesome cable package. Best thing about it, it has channels that have oldies but goodies. My favorite show now: Beverly Hills 90210. I had forgotten how much I loved the 1990’s television shows. I have started with season one and am already into the third! It is refreshing to watch a teenage drama where the characters aren’t scantily clad. The show is filled with teenage drama. The problems, that seem like the end of the world, are solved within the hour. Beverly Hills:90210 is truly a classic. It was not a show that was cancelled in the first three seasons like many of the short-lived high school dramas that we watched in our early college years. It ran for a whole ten seasons and managed to keep many of the original actors. If you get a chance, check it out. Once you start watching, you will be hooked! I even caught my husband watching 90210 on his day off.

People Don't Know

Thanks for the post from Sylvester Campbell

People think New York is unsafe and that’s honestly just not true. Ever since Guiliani cleaned it up a few years back crime rates have been down and everyone’s been much safer for it. There are a lot of things to love about living and visiting her and I should know – I’m a resident! My favorite part of being a New Yorker is that I can walk out my door and buy coffee from literally ten different places in a city block. I also like that energy is deregulated here and I went to http://www.newyorkenergyrates.com to look at rates. If you’re into food there’s obviously a ton of different options from Street Dogs to roasted nuts to haute cuisine! Shopping is my game so I really can’t keep away from Bloomingdales or the shops in SoHo…if you don’t want to spend any money make sure you don’t venture down that way! There’s plenty to see and do in NYC and summer’s a great time to try it out!

Family Business

Author: Joyce Mccall

Real estate is in my blood, and since my dad, brother, and uncles are all agents, it only made sense that I would go into this industry. Our town has actually not struggled at all in this down economy, and it's pretty much still a seller's market here since builders can build fast enough to keep up with the constant demand for homes in this area. I'm really enjoying the flexibility that comes with being an agent, and I'm even building a business website using the wireless I've got from www.Clearwirelessinternet4g.com in my spare time when I'm just waiting for people to show up at open houses or my clients to meet me at listings. Luckily for me, I'm able to co-broker a lot of really good deals since I have so many family members doing the same thing as me! I'm learning so much and I'm so thankful to have allies in this difficult business, and I definitely think I chose the right career path for myself and for my family.
